It has been a month since Nothing launched its first smartphone – the Phone (1). While the Nothing Phone (1) is surrounded by its fair share of controversies, the company has kept its promise of frequent software updates.
The company has released a new update for the Phone (1), optimising the camera while introducing some new features and bug fixes. The Nothing OS 1.1.3, weighing 63.33MB, is currently rolling out to Phone (1) users across the globe.
The Nothing OS 1.1.3 update brings several camera improvements for the Nothing Phone (1). The update improves the quality of selfies taken with the Phone (1). Further, it should take the Phone (1) to process pictures taken in the Night Mode and HDR. The latest update also promises to deliver richer colour with the ultrawide cameras, and you can also expect improved quality while zooming in.
The update also adds a reminder to clean lenses. Pictures clicked with the Glyph interface turned on will be adjusted to “optimal colour and brightness.”
With the latest update, Nothing adds Google’s Adaptive Battery feature to the Phone (1). Further, the fingerprint verification UI for third-party apps has been redesigned.
According to the changelog, the stuttering across apps like Twitter, Play Store and others has also been fixed. The update also fixed the mobile hotspot, which was not working properly previously, and it also fixed the lock screen crash issue. The minor UI details have been polished while fixing some other general bugs.
