Android fans have an eye-catching new phone to look forward to, with the Nothing Phone (1) launching later this month. Nothing – which is a new venture from OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei – held a high-profile event earlier this week to showcase the phone, which has a distinct see-through back. This allows owners to see the new Glyph Interface which lights up to show when calls are being received and the charging status of the device. The release date for the Nothing Phone (1) is July 21, and pre-orders are available right now – with O2 the exclusive place to get the handset on a contract.

If you want to get the Nothing Phone (1) with a contract then prices start from just £22.81 a month.

This is for the 128GB version of the Nothing Phone (1) in black and you’ll also have to pay a £10 upfront fee.

This handset comes fitted with 8GB of RAM, while the contract you’ll get gives you 3GB of data to use each month plus one month’s free Disney+.

You will also be able to take advantage of free EU roaming up to 25GB, something that’s rare to find these days since Brexit.

Alternatively, if you’re after the Nothing Phone (1) in white then the handset with 256GB storage and 8GBs of RAM is in stock and available on the same contract for £24.20 a month plus a £10 handset fee.
