Additionally, the OS integrates a number of other Android 13 functionalities, including a photo picker, advanced media controls with a full display of album artwork, improved notification management, and a new QR code scanner that can be accessed via the notification panel.
Further, NothingOS 1.5 reduces distraction from Game Mode light notifications, seamlessly smooth display transition animations, and a polished camera app interface.
The Phone (1) receives a boost in app loading speed of up to 71% and up to a 50% reduction in standby power consumption with the Android 13 update. Furthermore, the update includes a “self-repair” function that removes the unused cache and outdated system dumps, resulting in the Phone (1) functioning as if it were new.
The Phone (1) also receives security and privacy improvements with the Android 13 update. It incorporates several new features of Android 13, including notifications when an application accesses your clipboard and the automatic deletion of browsing history. Further, now users can request permission for nearby Wi-Fi devices and granular media permission selection. Also, there comes a new Personal Safety app.
