Nothing Phone (1) receiving its first software update in India – Times of India

Nothing recently unveiled its first smartphone — the Nothing Phone (1) — and it went on sale in India on the same day for those who had already pre-reserved it. Now, the company has released the first software update for the Nothing Phone (1) ahead of open sales, addressing quite a few issues.
What’s changed in Nothing Phone (1) after the latest software update
Nothing is rolling out the first Nothing OS update for the Phone (1) in India. The update brings fixes for a number of bugs while also adding some new things to the Nothing OS. One of the major additions is support for HDR 10+ playback. The update also revamps the system sounds for the Nothing Phone (1). Further, the Glyph Interface settings UI has been revamped.
Aside from bringing improvements to the Glyph Interface, the latest software brings some common bug fixes. The battery life has been optimised. The camera app UI has received changes, while HDR, portrait and night scene shooting modes have also been improved in the latest update. The fingerprint scanner has also been improved to offer a faster unlocking experience.
Nothing OS software update changelog:

Improved Glyph Interface effects for system feedback
Revamped Glyph Interface settings UI
Optimised battery life
Optimised camera effects for HDR, portrait, night scene and more
Improved camera app UI

Other bug fixes
The software update brings some needed improvements to the Nothing OS. But none of the user concerns have been addressed like green tint and dead pixels have been addressed in the update. We expect Nothing to fix these issues before the open sales begin.
