Now the new Google Pixel Stand has leaked in full

TL;DR

  • A new leak dishes out all the details for a new $79 Google Pixel Stand.
  • The new accessory allegedly charges the Pixel 6 phones at 23W, a nice boost over the older model.
  • It will also charge other Qi-compatible devices, but Pixels will see the most benefits.

We still have more than a week to go before we see Google unveil the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. However, we’ve learned so much about them already that Google won’t have much to surprise us with on October 19.

The most notable update to the stand — besides its obvious redesign — is support for 23W wireless charging. This backs up the rumor that the Google Pixel 6 series would support wireless charging at that speed.

Check out the leaked imagery below, which gives away a ton of info on the new accessory.

2021 Google Pixel Stand leak

As you can clearly see, this leak doesn’t leave much to the imagination. Notably, it gives away the alleged price, which is unchanged from the original model: $79.

Also, note that the Google Pixel Stand appears to come in two colors. We’ve seen plenty of Google products in the Fog color (usually a grayish color of some sort) but “Rock Candy” is a new one on us. We’ll need to wait to see how that one looks.

Although there are tons of features catering to the Pixel 6 series here, this stand will also charge Qi-compatible products. However, it would be pretty silly to spend $79 on this if you aren’t going to take advantage of all the unique features catered to Pixels.

We have no idea if or when Google would launch this Pixel Stand. It’s a safe bet it would land alongside the Pixel 6 series on October 19, though.
