Nubia Red Magic 6S 3C certification confirms 120W fast charging support | 91mobiles.com

The Nubia Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro were launched in China back in March 2021. The two phones packed some high-end hardware for gaming enthusiasts, such as a 165Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 888 chipset, cooling fan, and more. Notably, the Nubia Red Magic Pro also features 120W fast charging support. It seems the company is working on yet another phone that will join the Red Magic 6 lineup soon. The Nubia Red Magic 6S is expected to launch in China and the phone has just been spotted on the 3C certification website by 91mobiles.

Nubia Red Magic 6S spotted on 3C certification ahead of launch

A Nubia phone with model number NX669J-S has been spotted on China’s 3C website. Considering the Nubia Red Magic carries the model number NX669J, we believe the NX669J-S is the Nubia Red Magic 6S. The 3C certification reveals that the upcoming phone will also support 120W fast charging, just like the Nubia Red Magic 6 Pro. Unfortunately, the website does not reveal any other specs of the Red Magic 6S.

The Nubia Red Magic 6S could sit in between the vanilla Red Magic 6 and the Pro model. To recall, the Red Magic 6 and Pro model both offer a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a whopping 165Hz adaptive refresh rate. The phones feature a 64MP triple rear camera system. The Red Magic 6 series is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. While the Red Magic 6 packs a 5,050mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging, the Red Magic 6 Pro gets a smaller 4,500mAh battery but a faster 120W fast charging. We will have to wait and see what the Nubia Red Magic 6S smartphone brings to the table.
