Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro goes on pre-orders ahead of launch on December 26

ZTE-owned Nubia is gearing up for the launch of Red Magic 8 Pro in China. As per the company, it will be the first gaming smartphone to debut with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset unveiled last month. However, ahead of its official launch, the smartphone has gone for pre-orders in China. Here are the details of the upcoming smartphone.
According to a report by Gizmochina, the gaming smartphone was recently spotted on TENAA website revealing some of its expected specifications. The upcoming Nubia smartphone is said to sport a 6.8-inch OLED display with full HD+ resolution with a high refresh rate. The Red Magic 8 Pro being a gaming smartphone, is expected to come integrated with a cooling system to avoid unnecessary heating. The device is also likely to feature a heat dissipation turbofan.
The rear side of the phone is expected to feature a transparent material that will show some of the internal components of the device.

For imaging duties, the smartphone is rumoured to sport a 50MP triple rear camera setup. The front is likely to house a 16MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
As mentioned above, the device is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
The device is rumoured to be backed by a 5000mAh battery with 165W fast charging support.
Earlier this week, Nubi also confirmed the launch of its Z50 smartphone in China. The smartphone will launch on December 19. The launch event is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM local time in China. The company confirmed the arrival of the Nubia 50 through a teaser poster.
The yet-to-be-launched Nubia Z50 will reportedly use a 35mm custom optical system where the light input exceeds 1-inch primary sensor. The device would also support Starry Sky Photography with different photography modes.
