Ola S1, Ola S1 Pro showrooms: Company to set up 200 EV experience centres across India by March
According to Aggarwal, Ola Electric has already set up 20 such experience centres. Furthermore, Ola Electric also aims to provide after-sales maintenance and service through such outlets. However, bookings will continue to happen online only exclusively, for now at least. Earlier, you could only book an Ola S1 test ride online only, but things are set to change over the next six months.
Ola Electric’s website currently displays Belgaum, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Kolhapur, Mangalore, Pune, and Thrissur experience centres to be operational.

Ola Electric will set up shop offline with its 200 experience centres scattered across the length and breadth of the country. Aggarwal announced that the company is working towards such an offline model for better customer reach.
The new strategy is a departure from the online-only model that the company had been rooting for since its inception. CEO Bhavish Aggarwal however, mentioned in his tweet that customers will still be able to book or make a purchase online only. The experience centres will be set up to enable more people to access and have a real-life experience of the Ola S1 and S1 Pro e-scooters. Aggarwal mentioned that 20 such touchpoints have already been set up, and others will follow soon, and the company expects to meet its 200 offline centre mark by March 2023.
This move comes after the Bangalore-based EV startup has recorded falling sales numbers despite other manufacturers gaining ground in the same segment.
