OnePlus will launch its flagship smartphone, OnePlus 10 Pro, in India on March 31. The company revealed the launch date of the smartphone through a social media post. OnePlus took the wraps off the smartphone at the CES 2022 and it is already available for purchase in China. Although the company has not shared much details about the Indian variant of the OnePlus 10 Pro, it is likely to sport the same specs as the Chinese variant. Here’s what we know about the OnePlus 10 Pro:

OnePlus 10 Pro is powered by flagship Qualcomm chipset

The flagship smartphone from OnePlus is powered by the flagship Qualcomm chipset, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It was one of the first smartphones to feature this SoC.

OnePlus 10 Pro’s AMOLED display uses Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide (LTPO) tech

OnePlus 10 Pro features a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ Fluid AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone display comes with Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide (LTPO) tech. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla glass on top.

OnePlus 10 Pro runs on Android 12 out of the box

The dual SIM OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of OxygenOS 12.

OnePlus 10 Pro’s camera is co-developed with Hasselblad

The rear camera setup in the OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone has been developed in partnership with Hasselblad. The company partnered with the Swedish photography equipment company for OnePlus 9 Pro as well.

OnePlus 10 Pro sports a triple camera setup at the rear. The setup consists of a 48MP main sensor, 50MP ultra-wide angle lens and 8MP telephoto camera with 3.3x optical zoom.

OnePlus 10 Pro comes with stereo speakers and is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, 50 wireless charging and reverse wireless charging support.

OnePlus 10 Pro comes with punch-hole selfie camera

For selfies and video calls, the OnePlus 10 Pro houses a 32MP punch-hole camera at the front. The smartphone also gets an in-display fingerprint sensor.

OnePlus 10 Pro comes in two colour options

In China, the OnePlus 10 Pro is available in two colour options – Volcanic Black and Emerald Forest. It is not yet known which colour options will be available in the Indian market.
