OnePlus has finally taken the wraps of its much awaited flagship smartphone, OnePlus 10 Pro, at the CES 2022. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has also shared a post on Twitter confirming the January 11 launch date of the smartphone. Last month, the company announced that the device will be powered by the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and now, the company has shared the images of the OnePlus 10 Pro revealing key design elements.
The images revealed that the smartphone will feature a triple rear camera setup that is co-developed with Hasselblad. The company partnered with the Swedish photography equipment company for OnePlus 9 Pro as well. It is also confirmed that the smartphone will be available in at least two colour options – Volcanic Black and Emerald Forest. The rear of the OnePlus 10 Pro appears to have a matte finish while at the front, the smartphone features a curved display with a punch-hole style notch at the top-left corner that houses the selfie camera.
Pete Lau previously revealed that the device will feature an LTPO 2.0 display. For those who don’t know, LTPO stands for low-temperature polycrystalline oxide and it is a special type of OLED panel. This technology allows the display to have a flexible refresh range up to 120Hz. It also consumes less power as compared to LTPS OLED displays. As per a post by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the OnePlus 10 Pro will offer 80W wired fast charging support and 50W wireless fast charging support.
The device was also spotted on benchmarking platform Geekbech last week. The device reportedly scored 976 in the single-core test and 3469 in the multi-core test. The listing also reveals that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC on the device will be paired with 12GB of RAM. It is worth noting that the device has scored less than the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro.

Under the hood, the smartphones will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The SoC is rumoured to be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Reports suggest that the smartphone may come in two combinations of RAM and storage configurations, 8GB and 12GB RAM and 128GB and 256GB of storage.
