OnePlus 10T vs iQOO 9T fast charging test: which phone charges the fastest?

Folks at MySmartPrice have put the fast charging speeds on both phones to test to see which is the fastest among the two. The results are quite surprising and are not what you expect. Let’s get into the story.

iQOO 9T vs OnePlus 10T: charging speed

The iQOO 9T packs a 4,700mAh battery with 120W fast charging support, while the OnePlus 10T has a slightly larger 4,800mAh battery with 150W fast charging. Technically, the OnePlus 10T with 150W fast charging speed should finish first but the results showed the iQOO 9T is faster. However, the difference is just two minutes.

Both phones were discharged first and were key to charge at the same time. Around the 2-minute mark, the iQOO 9T and OnePlus 10T were able to charge up to 9 percent. At this stage, both phones were at the same levels. However, at the 5-minute mark, the iQOO 9T raced ahead to 32 percent battery, while the OnePlus 10T with 150W fast charging speed is at 29 percent only. At the 10-minute mark, the OnePlus 10T is still lagging behind at 53 percent, while the iQOO 9T is pushing ahead with 55 percent.

The iQOO 9T was able to fully charge the phone in just 23 minutes, while the OnePlus 10T could charge at 25 minutes. The difference between them is just 2 minutes. Notably, the OnePlus 10T has a 100mAh bigger battery than the iQOO 9T but in comparison, it has a 30W faster-charging speed.

The MySmartPrice video notes the OnePlus 10T with 150W speed was able to charge 192mAh per minute, while the iQOO 9T with 120W was able to charge at 204mAh per minute. Apparently, the OnePlus 10T is said to be getting slightly hot while charging, while the iQOO 9T remained at normal temperatures.
