The OnePlus 11 has now been unveiled, but you can’t buy it quite yet unless you happen to be in China.
So far, it’s only been launched in China, but a global launch is set to follow on February 7. It’s then that we’ll presumably learn full details of the price and availability, but we know about the specs and design already.
With a top tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a new design inspired by black holes, and more, this handset looks to easily be one of the best OnePlus phones ever – though of course we’ll have to put it through a full review to know for sure. Below though, you’ll find all the information we currently have on the OnePlus 11.

OnePlus 11 price and availability
The OnePlus 11 has been announced for China already, where it will be on sale from January 9. There will be a separate launch for the rest of the world on February 7.
That launch event will start at 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm GMT on February 7, or at 1am AEDT on February 8 for those in Australia.
We don’t know the OnePlus 11’s price yet, but it’ll likely cost around $899 / £799 (roughly AU$1,400), which is how much the OnePlus 10 Pro would set you back. That’s because while the Pro name has been ditched, this is in fact a pro-level handset.
For reference, in China it starts at ¥3,999 (around $580 / £480 / AU$845), but we wouldn’t expect an exact price conversion.
OnePlus 11 design and display
First up it’s worth noting that there’s so far only one OnePlus 11 model, and it’s called the OnePlus 11 5G, yet has specs in line with a Pro model. So it’s unlikely that a separate OnePlus 11 Pro will launch later – though we might see a OnePlus 11T later in 2023.
In any case, the OnePlus 11 has a design that’s apparently inspired by black holes, and includes a new circular stainless steel camera module, but a design that’s otherwise not a million miles from the OnePlus 10 Pro, with a glass back in green or black, a metal frame, and a punch-hole camera in the screen.
The phone is 163.1 x 74.1 x 8.53mm and 205g, it includes the company’s signature alert slider, and the OnePlus 11’s display is a 6.7-inch 120Hz 1440 x 3216 fluid AMOLED one, much like its predecessor. It has 525 pixels per inch and a 20.1:9 aspect ratio.
And while it tops out at 120Hz it can also drop as low as 1Hz for situations where a high refresh rate isn’t needed, such as when using the always on display feature. The screen is also protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, so it’s durable.
OnePlus 11 camera and battery
The OnePlus 11 has a triple-lens rear camera, with a 50MP f/1.8 IMX890 main sensor, a 48MP f/2.2 IMX581 ultra-wide sensor (with a 115-degree field of view), and a 32MP f/2.0 IMX709 portrait lens with 2x optical zoom, which the company claims allows for DSLR quality portraits.
That’s a rather different setup to last year, with the portrait lens replacing its predecessor’s telephoto, and the sensors differing.
As with the OnePlus 10 Pro, the cameras here include Hasselblad branding and technology, but there’s a new 13-channel multi-spectral light-color identifying sensor too.
Video can be recorded in up to 8K quality at 24fps, or in up to 4K at up to 60fps, and there’s a 16MP f/2.4 selfie camera.
On the battery front, the OnePlus 11 has a 5,000mAh one with 100W charging, which is fast enough for a full charge in just 25 minutes.
That’s up from 80W on the OnePlus 10 Pro – though notably the 10 Pro charged at a slower 65W in the US, and it’s not clear if the US will get a worse version this time too or not.
OnePlus 11 specs and features
The OnePlus 11 is set to be a very powerful phone, as it uses the top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which should offer a 35% CPU improvement, a 25% GPU improvement, and better power efficiency than the previous model.
There’s also a hefty 12GB or 16GB of RAM, along with an advanced RAM management system, which OnePlus claims allows for improved performance when multitasking and gaming.
As for storage, the OnePlus 11 comes with a choice of 256GB or 512GB. There’s also a fingerprint sensor, and it runs Android 13 with the company’s ColorOS 13.0 interface.
The OnePlus 11 will probably also be supported for a long time, as OnePlus has announced that “select devices launched in 2023 and beyond” will get four major Android updates and five years of security patches. The OnePlus 11 isn’t named, but it’s an obvious candidate for this.
