OnePlus 11 launch with upcoming Snapdragon flagship tipped to take place in 2022: Details | Digit

After launching the OnePlus 10T last month, the company seems to be working on its next flagship smartphone. This could be called OnePlus 11 and now a new report speculates when and what to expect from this handset. The Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station (via TechGoing) has claimed the OnePlus 11 could come by the year’s end, carrying the forthcoming Qualcomm top-end processor.

It is being reported that the OnePlus 11 could see daylight by December 2022. 

The other revelation is that the OnePlus 11 specs could include Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

That’s about what the report tells at the moment.

Basic specs of the upcoming OnePlus 11 series are starting to come in and they are not that amusing.

All the attention seems to have been given to the Pro model, while standard 11 will mostly feel the same as current 10 series devices

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is said to carry the SM8550-Kailua model number.

Again, according to the Digital Chat Station, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 could be based on a 4nm TSMC process and sport a 1x Cortex-X3+ 2x Cortex-A720+ 2xCortex-A710+ 3xCortex-A510 CPU arrangement. This could also come armed with Adreno 740 GPU.

It won’t be OnePlus that adopts the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC first, as per reports. 

Rather, Xiaomi 13 is anticipated to be the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 smartphone. OnePlus is likely to follow soon with the OnePlus 11.
