OnePlus launched the OnePlus 9 5G has received a second price cut in India. The Chinese smartphone maker launched the OnePlus 9 5G in the country in March last year. The smartphone witnessed its first price drop of Rs 5000 in March this year. Now, the company has further slashed the price of its premium smartphone making it more affordable.

OnePlus 9 5G comes in two variants — 8GB and 12GB. After the first price cut, the 8GB RAM variant was available at Rs 44,999 and the 12GB RAM variant was selling at Rs 49,999. The smartphone has now received a price drop of Rs 7,000. So, after the second price cut, the customers can purchase the 8GB variant of OnePlus 9 5G at Rs 37,999 and the 12GB version at Rs 42,999.
The smartphone can be purchased in Astral Black, Arctic Sky and Winter Mist colour options. The new price is reflected on the company website.
OnePlus 9 5G specifications
OnePlus 9 5G is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB.
OnePlus 9 5G sports a 6.55-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers 120Hz refresh rate and is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass on top.
The dual SIM smartphone runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of customisation. OnePlus 9 Pro 5G features a triple rear camera with 48MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 50MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP monochrome sensor. Front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.4 aperture.
The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and it features dual speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos. OnePlus 9 5G is backed by a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging and 15W Qi wireless charging support.
