OnePlus 9 RT specs spotted on Geekbench | 91mobiles.com

OnePlus confirmed there won’t be any T-numbered flagships this year for global markets since the existing OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will stay relevant until 2022. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that OnePlus may not launch a successor to the OnePlus 9R — believed to be called the OnePlus 9 RT — in markets like India and China. Now, the OnePlus 9 RT with the model number MT2110 has appeared on the Geekbench platform. The listing has revealed some key specifications of the phone ahead of its launch. The OnePlus phone had already received the BIS certification, suggesting that the India launch could be soon.

OnePlus 9 RT specs appear on Geekbench

OnePlus 9 RT has managed to score 818 in the single-core round and 3246 points in the multi-core section. According to the listing (via MySmartPrice), the motherboard section notes it will come with the Lahaina codename, which is associated with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset. This is interesting as the phone was previously tipped to come with the same Snapdragon 870 chipset powering the OnePlus 9R. The phone is also listed running Android 11 OS, but rumours suggested it will be the first OnePlus phone to come with Android 12 out of the box. There are chances that things might change with the actual product. The alleged OnePlus 9 RT packs 12GB of RAM, but there could be other RAM options at launch.

OnePlus 9 RT specifications (rumoured)

OnePlus 9 RT specifications have surfaced online recently. The handset is said to adapt the optics from the OnePlus Nord 2. It is tipped to come with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 16MP Sony IMX481 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP B&W sensor. Since OxygenOS is integrated with OPPO’s ColorOS, we can expect the camera performance to be better in comparison. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

The phone is tipped to flaunt a 6.55-inch FHD+ E3 AMOLED display with 2,400 X 1,080 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and probably Corning Gorilla Glass layer. It could pack a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support, 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. The phone may have a 16MP snapper for selfies and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It may feature NFC, dual stereo speakers, and an X-axis vibration motor.
