OnePlus 9R gets latest OxygenOS update with November 2021 Android security patch – Times of India

OnePlus is rolling out Oxygen OS 11.2.6.6 update to OnePlus 9R devices in India. The update brings Android security patches for the month of November along with few stability improvements and fixes. The firmware update is 372MB in size.
OnePlus is rolling out an OTA update to the users in the country. Those interested can also check the update manually on their device by heading to the Settings app. Here, tap on System > System updates to check for the update’s availability on their phone.
OnePlus 9R was launched as an affordable flagship phone earlier this year. The handset comes with a starting price of Rs 39,999 and offers up to 12GB of RAM.
OnePlus 9R: Specifications
OnePlus 9R is equipped with a 6.5-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,080×2,400 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 octa-core processor along with up to 12GB of RAM.
The handset runs on Android 11 with OxygenOS 11 on top. On the camera front, the handset is equipped with a quad camera setup. The system comprises a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor paired with an f/1.7 lens with a 16MP secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens, 5MP macro shooter, and a 2MP monochrome shooter.
For selfies, the OnePlus 9R has a 16MP Sony IMX471 camera sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The device houses a 4,500mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 65. Connectivity features available on the phone are 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The phone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
