OnePlus 9RT to launch soon, confirms company: Expected price and specifications

NEW DELHI: OnePlus might soon launch its latest 9-series smartphone. The smartphone maker has now teased the launch of its upcoming smartphone — OnePlus 9RT. The company co-founder Pete Lau posted the teaser of the upcoming smartphone on Weibo. The teaser posted online clearly mentions the name of the upcoming OnePlus smartphone. Various online rumours suggest that the company will launch the smartphone on October 15. It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and borrow its design from OnePlus 9R.
Pete Lau posted a brief history of the OnePlus T series on Weibo. The teaser shared starts with the launch of OnePlus 3T in 2016 and has the OnePlus 8T as the latest model. The post also suggests that the upcoming OnePlus T series smartphone will come with a new and unique name which is said to be — OnePlus 9RT.
The concludes by suggesting that more details will be confirmed on Friday (October 8). However, Wiebo showed a post revealing the name of the smartphone which will be the OnePlus 9RT.
OnePlus 9RT expected specifications
OnePlus 9RT is said to come with a 6.55-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen. The phone may offer a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is likely to pack a 4500mAh battery and may offer fast charging support with a 65-watt adapter.
On the camera front, the phone is rumoured to come with a 50MP primary camera at the back. This may be paired with a 16MP secondary camera and a 2MP third sensor. For selfies, the phone may sport a 16MP camera on the front.
It is expected to pack up to 12GB of RAM. The device’s storage is speculated to be up to 256GB.
OnePlus 9RT expected price
According to a report by tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 9 RT will come with Android 11 out-of-the-box topped with the company’s new ColorOS 12 on top. The tipster also claims that the OnePlus 9 RT will be priced between 2000 Yuan (Rs 23,267) to 3000 yuan (Rs 35,000).
