OnePlus Ace 2 to come with 100W charging and dedicated power management chip – Times of India

OnePlus’ next smartphone in its home market is the OnePlus Ace 2, successor to last year’s OnePlus Ace. The OnePlus Ace 2 is set to launch in China on February 7. Ahead of the official announcement, OnePlus has been teasing the smartphone, revealing some of the key details about the upcoming smartphone.
In a Weibo post, the company advertised the upcoming OnePlus 11R as a “three-chip powerhouse.” The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which will be paired with the SuperVOOC S power management chip and a graphics rendering chip.
OnePlus has also confirmed that the OnePlus 11R will boast a 5000mAh battery. Further, the smartphone is also confirmed to come with 100W charging support, like the OnePlus 11. The company says that the 100W charger can power the battery from 0-50% within 10 minutes.
The OnePlus Ace 2 is expected to debut in the international market as the OnePlus 11R, which is launching in India on February 7. So, we can expect the OnePlus 11R to share similar features.
OnePlus Ace 2/ OnePlus 11R: What to expect
The OnePlus Ace 2, aka OnePlus 11R, is expected to share a similar design as the OnePlus 11. On the front, the OnePlus Ace 2/ OnePlus 11R may feature a 6.74-inch AMOLED panel with QHD resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1450 nits of peak brightness. Further, the smartphone could come with an under-display fingerprint sensor.
In China, the OnePlus Ace 2 may come with Android 13-based ColorOS 13. However, the OnePlus 11R that is launching in India will run OxygenOS 13 out of the box.
As for the cameras, the OnePlus Ace 2 or OnePlus 11R is expected to have a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro camera. Unlike the OnePlus 11, the OnePlus Ace 2 or OnePlus 11R will not have Hasselblad tuning. For selfies, the smartphone could come with a 16MP sensor housed inside the punch-hole cutout.
