OnePlus Ace 2 with 100W charging, 5G connectivity may launch soon in China – Times of India
Chinese smartphone maker recently expanded its product portfolio with two new launches in its domestic market. The company has unveiled the OnePlus 11 and the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 in China. Now, rumours suggest that the company is working on a new smartphone that will be exclusive to its domestic market of China. This smartphone may have a similar design to the OnePlus 11, but will have a less expensive price point and is expected to arrive with a lower-end display along with a slightly older chipset. The OnePlus Ace 2 will follow last year’s OnePlus Ace smartphone which was also exclusive to China.
According to a report by Notebookcheck, the device has also been approved by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) registration. MIIT listings have even revealed some key highlights of the phone. The new 5G device has been listed on the MIIT database called the OPPO PHK110. To compare, the OnePlus 11 appeared on databases with the model number PHB110. OnePlus may not promote the Ace 2 as a flagship product and its expected to arrive with a mid-range price tag.

The upcoming smartphone is likely to sport a 1.5K display. This display seems to be a trend for the recent slightly more cost-effective smartphones. OnePlus Ace 2’s display is expected to come with a panel of last-gen curvature that will be shipped by Chinese suppliers such as BOE. To compare, OnePlus 11’s features a flat-screen with a QHD resolution that Samsung supplies.
