OnePlus Ace 2V confirmed to launch on March 7 – Times of India

Earlier this month, OnePlus unveiled the Ace 2 in its home market in China. Now, OnePlus is launching a new smartphone in the Ace series – the Ace 2V. The OnePlus Ace 2V will launch in China on March 7.
On their Weibo account, Louis Li, the President of OnePlus China, shared a teaser showing off the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2V with an alert slider on the top right side, significantly above the power key in the centre. Meanwhile, the volume rocker will be situated on the left-hand side.
Although Li mentioned that the Ace 2V would provide a “flagship experience,” the post does not explicitly verify whether the phone will be equipped with a Dimensity 9000 chipset.
OnePlus Ace 2V: What to expect
Rumours are rife that the OnePlus Ace 2V will come with the Dimensity 9000 chipset with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Further, the smartphone may come with Android 13 out-of-the-box running ColorOS 13 in China. The smartphone may come with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC charging.
It is being rumoured that the smartphone will feature a 6.74-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with high-frequency PWM dimming. Further, the Ace 2V will offer an in-display fingerprint sensor.
While the teaser does not show off the smartphone’s design, the leaked renders suggest a flat frame. Also, the company has confirmed that the Ace 2V will have a glass back made of 2.8D micro-arc glass.
The Ace 2V is expected to come with a triple camera setup led by a 64MP OmniVision OV64M sensor with OIS. Other cameras will be an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide camera with 120-degrees field-of-view and a 2MP GalaxyCOre GC02M sensor. On the front, the smartphone could come with a 16MP camera for selfies.
OnePlus Ace 2V is rumoured to launch in India and other global markets as the OnePlus Nord 2.
