OnePlus has a packed February 7th with its latest high-end smartphone, the OnePlus 11 and Buds 2 Pro making its global debut alongside the new OnePlus 11R, OnePlus Tab, and much more. But that is not all. In its home market, China, OnePlus will introduce the Ace 2, aka the OnePlus 11R, along with the new OnePlus Buds Ace on February 7.
The company shared the teasers for the OnePlus Buds Ace showing off the upcoming buds in two colour options – white and black. As of now, there is not much known about the Buds Ace.
From the looks of it, the OnePlus Buds Ace seems to share uncanny resemblance to the purported OnePlus Nord Buds 2, which has been doing the rounds of the rumour mill for a while now. Also, these look similar to the original OnePlus Nord Buds launched last year. So, we can expect these to launch as Nord Buds 2 in India and other markets outside of China.
OnePlus Buds Ace: What to expect
We do not know much about the OnePlus Buds Ace. However, considering its resemblance with the Nord Buds 2, we can expect the two earbuds to share similar specifications.
The earbuds have a flat stem design with in-ear silicone tips, having a similar look to that of the Nord Buds. The case is also very similar to OnePlus Nord Buds. The earbuds could come with support for Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, as rumoured for the Nord Buds 2.
As per a listing on JD.com, the OnePlus Buds Ace will offer noise cancellation with ‘deep noise reduction.’ Further, the earbuds could offer up to 36 hours of battery life.
OnePlus Ace 2 with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is launching in China on February 7. The smartphone is set to launch in India as OnePlus 11R on the same day.
