Earlier this month, OnePlus confirmed the launch of its first physical keyboard. The keyboard was initially expected to launch in December this year. However, OnePlus has now confirmed that the OnePlus keyboard will launch in February next year. OnePlus has also revealed that the keyboard will enter mass production between March – May next year.
The company has also confirmed that it has partnered with mechanical keyboard manufacturer Keychron for its first mechanical and customisable keyboard. OnePlus has now further revealed the details about the upcoming OnePlus keyboard.

The Chinese smartphone maker has now revealed that the OnePlus keyboard will come with a gasket design. “The specialized double gasket amplifies this experience even more. With this dedicated feature, typing is transformed to deliver all-day comfort seamlessly optimized for working or gaming,” said the company.
The yet to launch OnePlus keyboard will sport an aluminium and lightweight keyboard. OnePlus mechanical keyboard is designed to work seamlessly for Mac users. The layout matches the MacBook keyboard and is equally suitable for MS Windows. It’s even compatible with Linux making it the effortless all-in-one solution for all your keyboard needs.
The upcoming OnePlus keyboard will also offer hot-swappable switches and flexible, open-source firmware. Hot-swappable functionality allows for fast and smooth changes of switches for unique personalization.
Open-source firmware like QMK and VIA allows for real-time control without reflashing firmware.
Recently, OnePlus completed 9 years, and on the occasion of its 9th anniversary, the company is offering discounts on its range of 5G-ready smartphones, including the OnePlus 10 and Nord series. Further, there are discounts on smart TVs, audio devices, wearables, and newly launched monitors.
