OnePlus Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition hands-on image leaks out

OnePlus Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition has been announced by the company and we also know the phone’s India price as well. The phone maker is yet to reveal the Nord 2 PAC-MAN edition specifications but we speculate they could be similar to the original version. A lot has been said about the special edition’s design and the neon glowing PAC-MAN logo on the back. Now, giving us our first look at the phone, the alleged hands-on live images have surfaced online, courtesy of tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore. Additionally, we also get to see the retail box package of the phone as well. OnePlus is yet to reveal the launch date of the Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition availability in the country.

The image of the retail box shows a tall grey-coloured box with PAC-MAN and OnePlus branding. There’s no mention of any of its features. As for the handset, it has a white-silver glossy finish design on the back, with a PAC-MAN logo and dots that the character consumes. According to the leaker, the game character glows in the dark in neon colour. There’s OnePlus X PAC-MAN branding to the left of the rear-camera module. The OnePlus Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition will be available in India and Europe (including the UK) in limited stock.

OnePlus Nord 2 specifications

OnePlus Nord 2 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI SoC paired with ARM G77 MC9 GPU coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. However, the special PAC-MAN Edition is said to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset. The phone has a triple camera setup on the back, with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS, f/1.88 aperture, and 6P lens; an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119.7-degree field of view, EIS, and f/2.25 aperture; and a 2MP mono lens.
There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. 

The OnePlus Nord 2 is said to boot Android 11-based OxygenOS custom skin out of the box and has a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C port. The phone is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor, X-axis linear motor, dual stereo speakers, and noise cancellation.

OnePlus Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition price

OnePlus Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition price in India is Rs 37,999, probably for the high-end 12GB + 256GB version. Its price in Europe and the UK is said to be €529 (approx Rs 45,100) and £499 (around Rs 49,900), respectively.
