Last week, in partnership with tipster Yogesh Brar, we reported that the OnePlus Nord 2 price in India will start at Rs 31,999. This would put a Rs 3,000 difference between the starting prices of the Nord 2 and its rival POCO F3 GT. Well, the OnePlus Nord 2 price in India reportedly has been revised for the base variant ahead of the launch, according to a tweet by Brar. With a price tag under Rs 30,000 for the starting variant, Nord 2 will certainly be in a better position to compete against the cheaper POCO F3 GT smartphone, which is launching just a day after the OnePlus model. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at the revised OnePlus Nord 2 price in India.

In his tweet, Brar says OnePlus Nord 2 price in India will be Rs 29,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. This is Rs 2,000 lower than the phone’s previously decided price tag of Rs 31,999. The new price also bridges the gap between the Nord 2 and F3 GT to just Rs 1,000, going by the leaks. POCO has also confirmed that its next smartphone in India will cost around Rs 30,000.

Moving on to the smartphone’s 12GB + 256GB variant will still cost Rs 34,999, at least for the Green Woods colour option with leather finish. We will have to see if the other two colour variants – Grey Sierra and Blue Haze – are any cheaper than that.

Well, that’s the word on the OnePlus Nord 2 price in India at the moment. We won’t have to wait too long what the smartphone’s exact price though, since the launch event is less than 24 hours away.

OnePlus Nord 2 specifications

As for the specifications, OnePlus Nord 2 will sport a 6.43-inch Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The smartphone is confirmed to pack the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI SoC, with RAM and storage tipped up to 12GB and 256GB respectively. On the back of the phone will be three sensors: the 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro unit. On the front will be a 32MP selfie shooter. The smartphone will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 65W charging. Android 11-based Oxygen OS 11.1 custom skin and 5G will also be part of the package.
