OnePlus Nord 2 starts receiving OxygenOS A.1.5 update

NEW DELHI: OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS A.15 update for its mid-range OnePlus Nord 2 smartphone. The software update also brings along the security patch for the month of December. The Chinese smartphone maker launched the OnePlus Nord 2 in July this year and since then, the smartphone has been receiving monthly updates for the device. OnePlus mentioned that its an incremental rollout and will reach all OnePlus Nord 2 users soon.

OnePlus Nord 2 update changelog

According to a post by the OnePlus forum, the smartphone maker has started rolling out OxygenOS A.15 for the OnePlus Nord 2. The update comes with firmware version DN2101_11.A.15 and it is being rolled out in India recently. The new software update fixed some issues and also claims to improve system stability.

Along with software changes, the update also brings the security patch for the month of December 2021. The latest Oxygen update also brings video stability with AI Video Enhancement. The update has also faced the issue of unclear calls when the smartphone is connected to a Bluetooth device.

It is an OTA update and will reach all the OnePlus Nord 2 users soon. Users can also manually check for the update by going to Settings > System > System updates.

Meanwhile, OnePlus is all set to launch the OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G smartphone in India soon. The smartphone has appeared in the database of the BIS certification website, hinting at its imminent launch. It was listed with the model number IV2201.

As per an online report, the smartphone is expected to feature an AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is also said to feature a similar design as the OnePlus 9 series. Ditching its old design, the OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G is expected to come with a punch-hole display and same camera arrangement as the OnePlus 9 series.
