TL;DR

  • Details of the rumored OnePlus Nord 2T have emerged.
  • The phone could pack an unannounced Mediatek chipset and 80W charging support.
  • There’s no word on a launch date, but tips suggest a February debut could be on the cards.

It’s been a great few weeks for OnePlus leaks. Now, another mid-range OnePlus model has reportedly emerged. According to new rumors, the OnePlus Nord 2T is shaping up as a minor upgrade of the OnePlus Nord 2.

Per a report from Digit, the OnePlus Nord 2T could pack the unannounced Mediatek Dimensity 1300 SoC, the successor to the Dimensity 1200 used in the Nord 2. The other big upgrade could relate to the phone’s charging spec. While the OnePlus Nord 2 supported 65W speeds, the Nord 2T could turn this up to 85W. Battery capacity could remain at 4,500mAh.

As for the camera hardware, don’t expect much of a bump here either. Like the Nord 2, the 2T could pack a triple rear camera with 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP monochrome shooters. A 32MP selfie camera could be used up front.

Finally, there’s mention of an FHD+ display, but the leak doesn’t detail specifics. Up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage are reportedly in the offing.

There’s no word on a launch date just yet, but expect pricing to shade that of the Nord 2.
