OnePlus launched the first-ever Nord Buds TWS earbuds along with the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G smartphone in 2022. According to a report by GizmoChina, OnePlus Nord Buds 2 has been spotted on several certification websites. The company is expected to launch the next-gen Nord Buds soon. Here, we have detailed some of the expected specs of the upcoming Nord Buds 2.

OnePlus Nord Buds 2: Expected specs and feature
The report mentions that these certification sites have revealed only a few details about Nord Buds 2. OnePlus Nord Buds 2 is likely to support 1.5W charging output for the earbuds and 4.5W charging input for the charging case, the CQC listing claims.
Last year’s OnePlus Nord Buds featured 12.4mm titanium dynamic drivers with a dual microphone setup for AI noise cancellation. However, the original Nord Buds didn’t support active noise cancellation (ANC) and a transparency mode.

The upcoming TWS earbuds are rumoured to ship with slight improvements in specifications. OnePlus Nord Buds 2 may also have a different design from its predecessor. Nowadays, ANC has become a common feature across budget earbuds available in the Indian market. The report claims that OnePlus may also add ANC for the upcoming budget TWS earbud models.
2022’s OnePlus Nord Buds promises to offer seven hours of listening with each bud and a total playback time of 30 hours (with the case). The Nord Buds also come equipped with an IP55 dust and water resistance rating and support ultra-fast charging. With just 10 minutes of charging, the Nord Buds offer 5 hours of battery backup.
