NEW DELHI: OnePlus is all set to launch its new smartphone in India this week. The company will launch the affordable OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G smartphone in the country on February 17. OnePlus has scheduled an online launch event, where it will launch the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G smartphone and the OnePlus TV Y1S and Y1S Edge. Now ahead of the official launch, the smartphone maker has confirmed some of the specifications of the upcoming OnePlus Nord smartphone.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G confirmed specifications
OnePlus has revealed that the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will come with a new colour option called Bahama Blue. The smartphone will sport a triple rear camera setup. The rear camera is said to include a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra wide angle lens and 2MP macro camera.
OnePlus has also revealed that the Nord CE 2 5G will come with 65W Super VOOC charging support. The company claims that the smartphone can deliver up to 1 day’s battery life with 15 minutes of charging. The smartphone is also confirmed to come with a 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD card slot.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G expected specifications
OnePlus Nord CE2 5G is said to feature a full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone is expected to come with a Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate.
The mid-range smartphone is likely to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor paired with 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM. The handset is said to come in two storage variants — 128GB and 256GB.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is said to run Android 12 operating system, topped with the company’s own layer of OxygenOS 12.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is expected to house a 4500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support.

A recent online report revealed the company might price the 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant under Rs 28,000.
