For example, the phone will come with 65W SuperVOOC fast charging support, a feature borrowed from OPPO after the OnePlus and OPPO merger. OnePlus Nord CE 2 launch date in India
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 India launch has been scheduled for Thursday, February 17th. OnePlus officially confirmed the launch date on its Twitter channel last week. Amazon India has also launched a microsite for the Nord CE 2. OnePlus usually sells its devices exclusively on Amazon India and on OnePlus’ official India website. The February 17th launch is most probably a global event, which means that the phone will be launched in other regions as well.

According to a recent leak, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 price in India will start at Rs 23,999 for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. This leak comes courtesy of Yogesh Brar, who’s a reliable tipster. Another variant with 8GB RAM will also be available for Rs 25,999. According to the leak, OnePlus will start selling the phone right after launch. These prices are pretty good and in line with the previous OnePlus Nord devices. The phones should sell like hot cakes in the country as they offer 5G, decent specifications, new and features.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 design
OnePlus has officially revealed the design of the upcoming Nord CE 2 via the Amazon India microsite. The rear design of the phone was showcased on the site, and it shows us the rear camera module. The Nord CE 2 will feature a triple rear camera setup that blends in to the frame of the phone at one side. Two of the three camera lenses are huge, and there’s an LED flash as well. Apart from that, you can see that the phone is missing the famous Alert slider. The volume button is located on the right side of the phone, whereas the volume buttons are on the left.
According to a recent leak, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 will be available in two colour options namely Bahama Blue and Grey Mirror. The phone will have a punch-hole camera cutout in the front and an in-display fingerprint scanner, similar to other Nord models.

Coming to the specifications for the Nord CE 2, a lot of it has been leaked online, and some of the main features have been revealed by OnePlus themselves. The MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset will be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone will most likely run Android 12 based OxygenOS out of the box, but we could be wrong.
In terms of optics, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 will house a triple rear camera setup at the back. The setup will consist of a 64MP OmniVision primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP macro sensor. A 16MP selfie camera will be available up front. The leaks also suggest that the phone will house a 4,500mAh battery. The phone will miss out on a 3.5mm headphone jack though, which has be available in the Nord CE.
