OnePlus finally revealed the Nord CE 5G price in India and complete specifications during the ‘Summer Launch Event’ on Thursday. The CE stands for ‘Core Edition’ and it essentially takes the best parts about the original OnePlus Nord, while making some enhancements under the hood. The design is more or less similar to the original Nord, with a corner punch-hole camera and a pill-shaped rear camera module. The biggest change comes to the primary camera, which has been bumped to 64MP from 48MP. The Nord CE 5G also brings a 3.5mm headphone jack while keeping the form factor slimmer compared to the original. The phone will look to take on the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G, Realme X7 Max, and the new iQOO Z3 in the affordable segment.

OnePlus Nord CE 5G price in India, open sale date

OnePlus Nord CE 5G price in India starts at Rs 22,999 for the base model that comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The 8GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 24,999, while the 12GB+256GB option is priced at Rs 27,999. It will be available in Charcoal Ink, Blue Void, and Silver Ray colour options and will be available on the OnePlus website and Amazon. The Nord CE 5G pre-order will begin on June 11th and the open sale starts on June 16th.

OnePlus Nord CE 5G sports a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution, 410ppi, and punch-hole cutout. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC coupled with Adreno 619 GPU, up to 8GB RAM, and 256GB internal storage that may not be further expandable. The phone runs on Android 11-based OxygenOS custom skin on top and packs a 4,500mAh battery with 30W Warp Charge 30T Plus fast-charging support. Connectivity options could include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.

Moving to cameras, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G will have triple cameras on the back, with a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, 6P lens and EIS, a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FoV, EIS, and f/2.25 aperture. There is a 16MP Sony IMX471 snapper on the front for selfies and video chats, an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, and superlinear speaker noise cancellation.
