oneplus: OnePlus may release another flagship for 2022: What we know – Times of India

OnePlus 10 Pro was launched by the company as this year’s first flagship device in March 2022. The Chinese smartphone maker followed it with the launch of the OnePlus 10R smartphone and a couple of Nord devices. According to a new report by GSMArena, the company is now working on the second flagship device of the year — the OnePlus 10T 5G.
The report claims that this device might be OnePlus’ final flagship of the year. The upcoming handset is expected to be the first T-series OnePlus phone since the OnePlus 8T, which was released in 2020. Earlier, OnePlus confirmed its tradition of releasing two flagships per year and the second one for this year is expected to be unveiled midway through 2022.
Some rumours suggested that the company might launch a OnePlus 10 Ultra smartphone as the detailed spec sheet of the handset was recently leaked. However, the new report claims that OnePlus will not be launching an Ultra variant in the flagship series and the leaked specs sheet likely belongs to the OnePlus 10T 5G handset or any other device. However, the company has not confirmed any details about the upcoming device and much information regarding the same is also not currently available.
OnePlus 10T 5G expected specifications
As per the report, the OnePlus 10T 5G smartphone is expected to come powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Earlier, OnePlus announced that the company is working on a smartphone featuring Qualcomm’s next big mobile platform. The OnePlus 10T is likely to be the device that the company is developing.
The charging speed is also likely to increase from 80W in the OnePlus 10 Pro to 150W like on the OnePlus 10R. More details will be revealed once the company officially announces the device.
