OnePlus phones launched after 2020 eligible for Jio and Airtel 5G support | Digit

Today, OnePlus announced that the users in India who have purchased OnePlus 5G smartphones can now finally enjoy the 5G network in India, provided they are using telecom providers like Airtel and Reliance Jio. The brand confirmed that OnePlus devices have been launched after 2020 (including flagship offerings as well as Nord devices) and are now officially able to support 5G. 

OnePlus devices now support 5G networks

In order to ensure all customers can enjoy the services, the devices have been tested using the Vi 5G network in New Delhi, which means that once Vi starts offering 5G in India, users will be able to tap into the network. The brand has also confirmed that it is working with leading telecom partners in order to offer 5G technology services to users all over the country. 

OnePlus collaborated with Airtel, Jio and Vi to offer a glimpse into the capabilities of 5G technology, during the India Mobile Congress (IMC) in Delhi. Users saw a real-time demonstration of 5G networks on OnePlus smartphones.
