OnePlus RT launch in India reportedly delayed – Times of India

OnePlus expanded its OnePlus 9 series in China with the addition of the OnePlus 9RT smartphone in October. The smartphone joins the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9R in the series. Although the company has not revealed any plans to launch the smartphone in India, known tipster Max Jambor revealed that the OnePlus 9RT will be launched in India on December 16. Now, in his recent Tweet, the tipster has revealed that the Indian launch of the smartphone has been delayed.
The device will be reportedly called the OnePlus RT in the country but it is expected to carry the same design and specs as seen on its Chinese counterpart. The smartphone was also spotted on the OnePlus Care app a few weeks ago. The device was also seen on the BIS certification website as well.
OnePlus 9RT specifications
OnePlus RT features a 6.6-inch FHD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display gets 1300 nits of peak brightness and up to 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the device features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. The smartphone with 5nm chipset comes in three variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage and 12GB + 256GB internal storage variant.
When it comes to camera, the OnePlus RT gets a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and OIS. The primary lens is joined by a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The camera setup also gets dual-LED flash. The triple camera setup is said to offer hybrid focus and 4K video recording.
In terms of selfie camera, the smartphone features a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 camera with an f/2.4 lens. The front camera also gets electronic image stabilization. At the battery front, the device houses a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery that supports 65W fast charging.
