OnePlus TV Y1S and Y1S Edge launch date
There is no word on the OnePlus TV Y1S and Y1S Edge launch date in India yet. However, there is a report that suggests OnePlus is hosting a TV launch event in the country on February 17th. The brand is expected to unveil as many as four models at the event, and we are presuming OnePlus TV Y1S and Y1S Edge could be two of them.
Simultaneously, OnePlus has promised to reveal the features of the TVs till February 16th, so the OnePlus TV Y1S series India launch could happen after that. The smart TVs will be sold online through Amazon.in and offline stores. The notify button is live on the e-commerce site and the official OnePlus website.
OnePlus TV Y1S and Y1S Edge specifications
The OnePlus TV Y1S and Y1S Edge are expected to be the upgraded versions of the OnePlus Y1 series from last year. The smart TVs will come with a premium bezel-less design and a connected ecosystem. The new OnePlus Y1S series will “provide a truly seamless smarter TV experience for our wider community at a highly accessible price range,” per Navnit Nakra, Oneplus India CEO and Head of India region.
Announcing the launch of the OnePlus TV Y1S and TV Y1S Edge in the country, Nakra said, the “new range will redefine the smart TV experience by providing unparalleled quality, along with a premium design and an elevated viewing experience, while bringing these offerings at truly affordable price points.”
As for the specifications, the OnePlus TV Y1S series is expected to tout 20W Dolby audio speakers, dual-band WiFi, HDR10+ support, and Android TV 11OS. It’s likely to come with a similar design to the existing OnePlus TV Y1.
