Oppo has unveiled its first smartphone, Oppo Find N. The company showcased the smartphone on the second day of its annual Oppo Inno Day event. The smartphone is part of Oppo’s high-end series Find. It has been in the works for quite some time now. It features a clamshell style design as seen on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. As of now, the smartphone has not revealed the availability details. Oppo Find N: Sports two displays
Oppo Find N features two displays – 7.1-inch inner display and 5.49-inch outer display. With an 8.4:9 aspect ratio, the inner display unfolds directly into landscape mode. When folded, the 18:9 aspect ratio is claimed to be easy to use with one hand.

Oppo Find N: Features a Flexicon Hinge
The Flexion Hinge on the Oppo Find N brings together 136 components. The company claims that the water-drop hinge design results in a crease that is up to 80% less noticeable compared to other devices, according to TUV.

Oppo Find N: Sports a clamshell design
According to Oppo, the clamshell and spring structure inside the advanced Flexion Hinge allows the device to freely stand when unfolded at any angle between 50-120 degrees. As it can freely stand at various angles, the device also serves as its own tripod, making 4K HD time-lapse imaging, video calls and online meetings easy and hands-free.

Oppo Find N: Customised user interface
The company says that it has customised the user interface to operate efficiently in compatible apps like the Music, Notes and Camera apps. For example, in the Notes app, the Oppo Find N can convert into a mini laptop allowing you to take notes without needing to hold the device.

Oppo Find N: Ultra-thin glass
The display of the Oppo Find N includes a 0.03 mm layer of Flexion UTG (ultra-thin glass), compared to 0.6 mm for regular smartphone glass. The company claims that the device has the ability to be folded over 200,000 times while still maintaining an overall smooth folding experience with next to no crease, as verified by TUV.

Oppo Find N: Display refresh rate
The inner screen of the device uses an LTPO display that adapts the refresh rate anywhere between 1-120 Hz based on the content you are watching. The inner display also features support for a touch sampling rate of up to 1,000 Hz.

Oppo Find N: New gestures
The foldable smartphone includes new gestures. When using a compatible app, you can use two fingers to swipe down in the middle of the device to split the screen in half, or turn a full-screen window into a floating window by pinching it with four fingers.

The Oppo Find N is equipped with a triple-rear camera setup consisting of a 50 MP Sony IMX 766 main sensor, a 16 MP ultra-wide lens and a 13 MP telephoto lens. The smartphone also has selfie cameras on both the inner and outer displays.

A new split-camera user interface on the Oppo Find N gives you the ability to use the display to take photos on one side and then view, share or delete your most recent photo on the other side. Oppo Find N comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 33W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge that is claimed to charge the device to 55% in 30 minutes and to 100% in 70 minutes. It also comes with 15W AIRVOOC wireless charging (compatible with standard Qi) and 10W reverse wireless charging.

Oppo Find N 8GB+256GB variant is priced at Chinese Yuan 7699 (around Rs 92,000) and the 12GB+512GB model will be available at Chinese Yuan 8999 (around Rs 1,08,000).
