Oppo has rolled out its first phone of the year, the Oppo A78 5G with a very new and different offer. Oppo tweeted that on buying the Oppo A78 5G from 18th January to 20th January, users can avail of the lucky draw to get the chance to win another Oppo A78 5G or IoTs like the Oppo Enco Buds2, the Oppo M32 or points up to 1000 in MyOppo app. The lucky draw is called the 1st Raffle Sale. Here’s how you can avail of this:
- First, you need to be a new user of Oppo A78 5G. That means you need to buy an Oppo A78 5G between 18th January to 20th January.
- Sign up in the pre-installed My Oppo app in your new Oppo A78 5G.
- Enter the 1st raffle page through the My Oppo home page banner.
- After that, if you are lucky the winner of Oppo A78 5G then you need to fill in the information in time and you’ll get the device at your door in a few days.
- If you win the IoTs then you are gonna have to get the reward code from the app and show it on the Oppo store to claim the reward.
- Points will be directly credited to the user’s My Oppo account after the win.
Oppo A78 5G: Specifications
Oppo A78 5G is the first phone launched by Oppo this year. It features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate support. The display is protected by Panda glass.
The Oppo A78 5G is powered by the Mediatek MT6833 Dimensity 700 (7 nm) chipset paired with 8GB RAM and it runs on Android 12 OS.
The Oppo A78 5G has a dual camera setup carrying a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
It packs a 5000mAh battery and supports up to 33 watts of fast charging. Oppo claimed that it can be charged up to 100% in 67 minutes.

Oppo A78 5G is available on Amazon and Oppo’s official website at the price of ₹18,999. On Amazon, there is also an SBI card offer which gives you a discount of ₹1,300.
