oppo: Oppo to launch F21 Pro series in India today: Price, specs and other details

Oppo is set to expand its smartphone lineup in the country with an addition to the F-series. The Chinese smartphone maker is going to launch two new smartphones — the Oppo F21 Pro and F21 Pro 5G at an online event scheduled at 5 pm today (April 12). The event will be live-streamed on the company’s social media channels and its official YouTube channel. The company is also speculated to release its latest pair of TWS earbuds at the event. The Oppo Enco Air 2 TWS earbuds are expected to be launched at this event as well. These earbuds are likely to offer up to 28 hours of battery life with the charging case and may also feature Active Noise cancellation (ANC).
Oppo F21 Pro series expected price and availability
The Oppo F21 Pro price in India is likely to be around Rs 21,990 whereas the 5G model may cost around Rs 25,990. The smartphone is expected to go for its first sale between April 15 and 20 through both online and offline channels. However, the pre-order is now open on the company’s official website.
Oppo F21 Pro 4G expected specifications
The Oppo F21 Pro is likely to sport a 6.43-inch full HD+ display with 60Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and may pack up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card.
The smartphone is rumoured to feature a triple rear camera setup that includes — a 64MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. The device will also house a 32MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.
The handset is expected to pack a 4500mAh battery unit with 33W fast charging support and is likely to run on Android 12 out-of-the-box.
Oppo F21 Pro 5G expected specifications
The Oppo F21 Pro 5G may sport the same display as the 4G variant but it is likely to come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset. Apart from that, the rear camera setup of the 5G version is also likely to be the same as the 4G version, except for one thing. The Oppo F21 Pro 5G will have a 16MP front shooter for selfies.
This device will also pack a 4500mAh battery unit with 33W fast charging support and is likely to run on Android 11 out-of-the-box.
