There’s a dedicated microsite on the OPPO India website, which reveals the gifts the company will be offering with the limited edition model. OPPO Reno 8 House of the Dragon edition launch date is yet to be revealed but we believe it might be sometime later this month or in time for the finale.

OPPO Reno 8 House of the Dragon Edition teased

OPPO India is gearing up to introduce the Reno 8 House of the Dragon Edition in India. As said, there’s also a dedicated microsite on the brand’s website, which spills some key details. Interestingly, while there’s a pre-order button on the website, clicking that will redirect to Flipkart, with no option to pre-order it yet. However, serves the purpose of confirming the phone will be available via Flipkart online.

Moving ahead, the OPPO India website reveals customers buying the special edition will get a special ‘House Targaryen’ phone cover, which has a leather finish and a dragon logo. Additionally, they also get a dragon egg collectible, a unique dragon SIM ejector tool, a dragon emblem phone holder, and finally a handwritten proclamation by King Viserys I Targaryen himself, welcoming buyers into the House of Fire & Blood. Besides this, we believe the other specifications of the Reno 8 Pro limited edition will be similar to the standard version.

OPPO Reno 8 Pro specifications

OPPO Reno 8 Pro has a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2412×1080 pixels resolution, punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It runs on Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 skin out of the box.

As for the cameras, the OPPO Reno 8 Pro has triple rear cameras, which are powered by the Marisilicon lens. There is a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. It has a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.

The Reno 8 Pro is equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader for security and a 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
