Recently, OPPO shared a teaser revealing the Reno 8T launch date and design. As per the teaser, the device will launch on February 3rd in India and later make its way to the global market on February 8th.

Besides this, a leak also brought the Indian price of the OPPO Reno 8T into the spotlight. The smartphone will retail at around Rs 28,999 in India, and it will go on sale for the first time on February 9th in India. However, it’s unclear if this rumoured price is for the 4G or 5G variant.

Rumours also suggest the company will bundle a free pair of OPPO Enco Buds 2 TWS earbuds with the OPPO Reno 8T as a part of the pre-order offer.

A steady stream of leaks and official teasers have given us a closer look at the device’s design. OPPO Reno 8T comes in two colours: Sunrise Gold and Dynamic Black. It has a curved display with thin bezels and a punch-hole cutout for the front-facing snapper aligned in the top centre of the screen.

At the back, there is an oval camera island housing two circular modules: one cutout includes the primary shooter, and the other features dual sensors and an LED flash. We can also see a pill-like design at the rear panel that stretches out from the camera layout with text that reads: AI portrait camera ultra clear lens.

The device has a power button on the right side and a SIM tray as well as volume rockers on the left side. We can expect a USB Type-C port for charging and a speaker grille at the bottom of the smartphone.

The device will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC at the helm. It will ship with up to 8GB RAM and a 128GB / 256GB UFS 2.2 storage option. A 4,800mAh battery that supports 67W charging will keep the lights on. It will run on ColorOS 13.1 custom skin based on Android 13 out of the box.

Photography on the OPPO Reno 8T will be taken care of by a triple rear camera setup: a 108MP primary shooter along with dual 2MP lenses. There will be a 32MP front-facing snapper for selfies and video calling needs.
