NEW DELHI: Oppo introduced ColorOS 12 based on Android 12. At the time of the launch, the smartphone maker also revealed the list of smartphones that will get the Android 12 update. Now, Oppo has announced the expansion of ColorOS 12 on other Oppo smartphones.
Oppo has announced that the beta version of ColorOS 12 will be available on Oppo F19 Pro+ and Reno5 Pro 5G and Oppo A74 5G from December 28. Along with this, the latest version of the operating system will also be available on the Find X2 from December 20 and the Reno6 Pro 5G Diwali edition and Reno6 Pro 5G will start receiving the update from December 22.
The company claims that ColorOS 12 will offer an unburdened experience with smart technology. The new UI layer comes with new design and enhanced privacy and security features. The new ColorOS 12 comes with a brand-new style acrylic icon, borderless design and new interface frame.
The latest OS skin from Oppo comes with a responsive design system and grid layout. ColorOS 12 offers quick-view cards or widgets. With the new OS skin users can now add widget components they need like smart car search, nearby shops, IoT equipment and other.
ColorOS 12 also comes with new Omoji, which is a digital avatar-based on ordinary cameras and face capture algorithms. The company claims that the photon vision engine can accurately control muscle movement and a variety of styles and customisations.
ColorOS 12 also enables users to switch small windows with one click, and switch to full screen by double-clicking. It will also bring a new sidebar 2.0 which can intelligently match the corresponding functions such as helping you compare prices when shopping, helping you recognize music when listening to songs and more.
