Panasonic Lumix GH5M2 mirrorless camera with 4K recording launched at Rs 1,69,990 – Times of India

Panasonic has launched Lumix GH5M2 digital mirrorless camera at Rs 1,69,990. The camera is also offered as a package with the L-kit for Rs 2,14,990. The 20.3-megapixel digital live MOS sensor with AR (Anti-Reflective) coating is claimed to capture details and drive the maximum performance of the lens. The image processor of the camera is also updated from that of the GH5 through the latest Venus Engine.
According to the company, the new camera boasts high-speed auto-focus as It incorporates technology that detects specific subjects such as – humans and animals, including canidae, felidae and birds. Notably for humans, in addition to the eye, face, body the head is also separately recognised by real-time detection technology. For stable handheld shooting, the body image stabilizer in the camera allows you to use a 6.5-stop slower shutter speeds.
In addition to the wired live streaming, the camera is capable of wireless live streaming using the Lumix Sync application for smartphones. Complying with H.264 in RTMP/RTMPS protocol, maximum FHD/60p 16Mbps is supported. For wired live streaming, a dedicated software program Lumix Webcam Software is available to download. The company claims that the camera will support wired IP streaming (RTP/RTSP) with future firmware updates.
The 3.0-inch free-angle LCD display in 3:2 aspect with 1,840K-dot high resolution comes with touch control. It features higher luminosity than that of the GH5 and it is also claimed to have superior color reproduction for high visibility outdoors. The camera is composed of a magnesium alloy full die-cast and is splash and dust resistant. It is also claimed to be freeze resistant down to -10 degrees centigrade.
In terms of connectivity, the camera includes Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi 5GHz / 2.4GHz. Most of the accessories for the camera predecessor GH5, such as the XLR microphone adapter, shutter remote control and battery grip, can also be used with the new model.
