photoshop: You can now use Adobe Photoshop on your desktop browser – Times of India
Adobe has announced that its photo editing platforms Photoshop and Illustrator are coming to the web. This means you can access your projects anywhere without installing the softwares on your PC. The apps will be synced with Adobe Creative Cloud. The company further revealed that, with just a URL, you can invite anyone to view and comment on your Photoshop or Illustrator file — and the reviewers don’t need to download any software or have a Creative Cloud subscription.
The Creative Cloud subscribers will be able to make light edits to Photoshop or Illustrator files right in their browser. Photoshop on the web is available in the public beta while Illustrator is only restricted to private beta version only.
The announcement came during Adobe’s Max 2021 virtual conference where it also revealed the new features added to Photoshop, Illustrator and others softwares.
In Photoshop, the company has added a few new tools including the Hover Auto-Masking tool that allows users to automatically mask out any object by just hovering over it. The Mask All Objects tool automatically picks out all the subjects in an image. The company also rolled out a Landscape Mixer feature, which allows you to change a landscape image from summer to winter or meadow to desert.
When it comes to Illustrator on the iPad, the company has released a technology preview of Vectorize. The feature enables you to convert any image into a vector graphic with enhanced precision and control. And on the desktop, the company has improved 3D effects and added a vast library of Adobe Substance 3D materials.
“Our team at Adobe is so excited to ship these updates and innovations across our entire product line. This year’s MAX is also the first step in the journey to bring Creative Cloud to the web and enable a new era of collaborative creativity. We invite your feedback and suggestions as we roll out more capabilities and unlock new possibilities. We are honored to do everything we can to outfit you for the future of creativity.” Adobe wrote in a blog post.
