According to a report by PhoneArena, Android leaker Kuba Wojciechowski has shared a tweet to reveal a new colour variant coming to Pixel Buds. The report claims that Google might be planning to release a new colour option for the Pixel Buds A-Series and Pixel Buds Pro. The new colour variant is expected to specifically match the company’s upcoming mid-range smartphone, Google Pixel 7a. The tweet also includes a leaked render which shows how the new colour will look on the TWS earbuds.

New colour variants for Pixel Buds
As per the tipster, the new “sky” or “arctic” blue colour will appear on both the budget Pixel Buds A-Series and the more expensive Pixel Buds Pro. The upcoming colour option is expected to be a welcome change for users who are looking to get a new pair of Pixel Buds. The report also claims that the new colour variants of Pixel Buds are likely to launch along with the new Pixel smartphone models at the upcoming Google I/O 2023 event which is expected to be held in May.

If the leaked renders are to be true, The blue colour variant of the Pixel 7a will be the first one since the Pixel 4a. Just like its predecessors, the upcoming Pixel A-Series Buds will also be white on the outside. Meanwhile, the blue colour will be on the inside of the battery case lid and the earbuds. The report claims that a similar design signature will also be available for the Pixel Buds Pro. However, the report didn’t confirm if Google is planning to bring a new generation of the Pixel Buds Pro or will just add the new colour variant to the existing lineup.
