Pixel Recorder app gets a new multiple people recognition feature: Details – Times of India
At its Google I/O keynote in October, Google showcased the new Pixel Recorder app with the ability to identify multiple people. Android Authority has reported that the updated Pixel Recorder app is now rolling out and it includes the feature.
According to the report, the latest version of the Recorder app carries version 4.2.493298253 is now widely rolling out and the update will be available via Google Play Store to all Pixel users. This includes Pixel 6, Pixel Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro users. The updated app now supports the ability to recognise multiple people and also Speaker labels.
The people detection feature automatically detects and labels each speaker when recording. Google has explained that the voice models are temporarily stored on the device till the time the Recorder app is active and is labelling speakers. Once the process is finished the voice models get deleted from the device. Also, the speaker labels get stored in the transcript.
The recorder app marks the speaker as Speaker 1, Speaker 2, Speaker 3 and so on. Users have the option to rename them as per their preference and also assign colour codes to them.

Google has also rolled out a new feature drop update for Pixel smartphones. The latest feature drop update brings a slew of new features like Clear Calling, unified search for Pixel Launcher Search, Live Bloom wallpapers, new Titles for Pixel Watch and more.
The feature drop update is now rolling out the Pixel smartphone users. To update or check for the update head to Settings and tap on the Software update option. Wait for the device to check for any new updates. If the update is available tap o sn Install button.
