Prosser’s claims are in line with earlier rumours which predicted that the Pixel Watch could see launch in the second quarter of 2022. Google has actually roped in Samsung for the Pixel Watch. It is expected to come with Samsung’s Exynos chipset and next-generation Assistant for Wear OS. This will be the first time that a WearOS watch (non-Samsung) will run on Exynos chipset.
The nex-gen Assistant is designed to process your speech directly on your device rather than via Google’s servers. The Google Assistant on the Watch will also be able to do things within your various apps like filtering the gallery in Google Photos via voice command. Along with this, it will also perform tasks like tweaking the phone settings when the user is completely offline.
The smartwatch is also speculated to ship with key health and fitness tracking features like step and calorie counting, heart rate monitor and more.
