Poco C55 tipped: Here are 5 features that have been leaked | Digit

Poco is planning to launch an entry level phone in India soon. The new budget-phone from Poco will be the Poco C55 which will be a rebranded version of Redmi 12C, reportedly. Redmi 12C was launched in China In January 2023 with the Mediatek Helio G85 SoC. 

A tipster known as TechnoAnkit1 has tweeted the specifications of the upcoming Poco C55 smartphone. He also tipped that Poco C55 will be the rebranded smartphone of Redmi 12C with the same features and configurations. 

Let’s check out the top five expected features of Poco C55.

Poco C55 design

Poco C55 will come with a weight of 192g and a thickness of 8.77mm reportedly. It is tipped to feature a 3.5mm headphone jack, a micro USB Port, a 2+1 card slot, a 1217 single speaker and a fingerprint sensor on the back.

Poco C55 is said to feature a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display with a brightness of 500 nits. 

Poco C55 performance

Poco C55 is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor which is an entry-level chipset. It will run on the Optimised Version of MIUI 13OS. 

Poco C55 camera

Poco C55 is tipped to come with a single 50-megapixel primary camera on the back and along with that a 5-megapixel selfie shooter on the front.

Poco C55 battery

Poco C55 will pack a 5000mAh battery with the support of 10-watt charging.

Since the Poco C55 is rumoured to share the same specifications as the Redmi 12C, the Poco C55 might be available in the same storage options; 64GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 4GB RAM, and 128GB 6GB RAM.

The price will not differ also, as the Redmi 12C was launched in China at a price of CNY 699 (₹8,500 approx) so we can expect the Poco C55 to be launched in India under ₹10,000.
