Poco C55 with 5000 mAh battery, HD+ display launched, price starts at Rs 9,499 – Times of India

Poco C55 is here. Poco has expanded its budget smartphone lineup with the launch of Poco C55. The smartphone features an HD+ display and is powered by a MediaTek processor. The smartphone runs Android 12 and is backed by a 5000 mAh battery.
Price and availability
Poco C55 comes in two variants — 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB priced at Rs 9,499 and Rs 10,999 respectively. The smartphone can be purchased in Forest Green, Power Black and Cool Blue colour options. Poco C55 will be available online on Flipkart starting February 28.

As part of the launch offers, the Poco C55 buyers will get a flat discount of Rs 500 on the 4GB variant. The discount of Rs 500 will only be available on the 1st day of sale. Along with this, the customers can also avail instant discount of Rs 1,000 with HDFC, SBI and ICICI Bank cards on the purchase of Poco C55.
Poco C55 specifications
Poco C55 features a 6.71-inch HD+ display with 720×1650 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Panda glass on top. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 chipset paired with up to 6GB of RAM. The dual SIM smartphone comes in two stoarge options — 64GB and 128GB. Users can further expand the storage up to 1TB by adding a microSD card.
Poco C55 runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI 13.
The smartphone sports a dual rear camera with 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 2MP depth camera with f/2.4 aperture. The budget smartphone is home to a 5MP selfie camera.
Poco C55 comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and it comes with IP52 rating which makes it dust and splash-resistant. The smartphone is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.
