Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition is confirmed to launch in India as POCO F3 GT sometime before Q3 and will ship with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Now, while we wait for the launch date announcement, the Redmi K40 gaming phone has received TUV Rheinland certification with the model number M2012K10C/ M2012K10I, the ‘I’ at the end probably is a reference to the Indian specific variant. Unfortunately, the listing as spotted by Mukul Sharma doesn’t reveal much else about the phone but since it’s already on sale in China, we know its specifications, design and other features. POCO F3 GT (Redmi K40 Game Enhanced edition) ships with an OLED 120Hz display, 67W fast-charging support, Android 11 OS, and 5,065mAh battery. It shouldn’t be long before we learn more details about the phone.

POCO F3 GT aka Redmi K40 Enhanced Edition sports a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, 1.8mm bezels on three sides, and punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. It runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12 custom skin and packs a 5,065mAh battery with 67W fast-charging support. 

The POCO F3 GT aka Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition has a triple camera setup at the back, with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 16MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C for charging and data transfer.

Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition price is RMB 1,999 (approx. Rs 23,000) for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model, RMB 2,199 (approx.
