Poco M2 receives MIUI 12.5 update in India

Poco M2 was launched in September last year. The handset came with Android 10 based MIUI 11 then. The company has now started rolling out the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update to the device in India. It is available with build number V12.5.3.0.RJRINXM and is 2.4GB in size.
It is being pushed to users as an OTA. Those interested can also check the update manually by heading to the Settings app on their device. MIUI 12.5 Enhanced comes with features like Atomised Memory, Focused Algorithm, Smart Balance, Liquid Storage. Along with these features, the update also allows users to uninstall most of the system apps.

Poco M2 is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 processor and is equipped with a 6.53-inch full HD+ screen. The smartphone’s display comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer on top.
The handset comes with P2i nano-coating for protection. Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, IR Blaster are the major connectivity features available on the phone. For selfies, the phone has an 8MP AI camera at the front.
On the rear, the smartphone is equipped with a 13MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro lens and a 2MP depth lens. The device houses a 5000mAh battery with an 18-watt fast charger. It is equipped with 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage which is expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card.
