Poco M4 Pro 5G is now official in India. The smartphone comes powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 octa-core processor. Poco M4 Pro 5G succeeds the Poco M3 Pro 5G that was launched in June last year. The new device comes with a starting price of Rs 14,999. At this price point, the handset will compete with the recently launched Vivo T1 5G, Realme Narzo 30 Pro, Oppo A74 5G, and the Lava Agni 5G.
Poco M4 Pro 5G: Price and availability
Poco M4 Pro 5G has three models. The base model packs 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, priced at Rs 14,999. Another variant has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is priced at Rs 16,999. There is another model that has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, and is priced at Rs 18,999.
The phone comes in three colour options- Cool Blue, Poco Yellow, and Power Black. It will go on sale on February 22 via Flipkart.
Poco M4 Pro 5G: Specifications
Poco M4 Pro 5G has a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Dot Display with 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The handset comes powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 octa-core processor paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The phone offers up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage which is expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card.
The smartphone runs on Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 custom operating system. It will soon be updated to MIUI 13. Poco M4 Pro 5G houses a 5,000mAh battery. It offers 33W Pro fast charging.
On the camera front, the handset features a 50MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. For selfies, the phone is equipped with a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.45 aperture.
Connectivity options available on the phone are 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR) blaster, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Poco M4 Pro 5G phone has dual stereo speakers and comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
